The Struty Twang is the Telecaster-style set. It features a neck pickup with a round sound and a bridge pickup with plenty of twang and a sound that cuts through the mix.
The neck pickup is available with open nickel cover, closed nickel cover, chrome, or gold cover.
Wire #43 AWG, AlNiCo V magnet for the neck pickup, and Wire #42 AWG, AlNiCo V magnet for the bridge pickup.
Neck Pickup: Resistance R= 7.3 kOhm / Inductance L= 2.9 H
Bridge Pickup: Resistance R=7.2 kOhm / Inductance L= 3.9 H
The Kinky Tone is the Stratocaster-style set.
The pickups are available with non-staggered poles and white, black, red covers.
Wire #42 AWG, AlNiCo V magnet.
Neck Pickup: Resistance R= 5.9 kOhm / Inductance L= 2.9 H
Middle Pickup: Resistance R= 6.9 kOhm / Inductance L= 3.8 H
Bridge Pickup: Resistance R=7.4 kOhm / Inductance L=4.2 H
Set de Struty Twang
The Smokey Sauce is a pickup tailored for blues, jazz, and rock. It’s a mini P90, a cross between a P90 and a single-coil pickup from a Telecaster or Stratocaster. This pickup offers the precision of a Tele or Strat pickup along with the fatness characteristic of a P90.
The pickups are available in 49mm and 51.6mm spacing with chrome or gold covers. Other spacings are also possible.
Wire #43 AWG, AlNiCo II magnet for the neck and AlNiCo V for the bridge.
Neck Pickup: Resistance R= 7.3 kOhm / Inductance L=6.6 H
Bridge Pickup: Resistance R= 8.5 kOhm / Inductance L=5.3 H
